Instead of trying to mentally connect locations from a list, operators can see where applicants are and how far they are from the assignment. In the view above, 156 applicants are shown for a request departing from VTBS, Suvarnabhumi Airport. The candidate list combines map context with practical details: name, position, aircraft ratings, verification status, location, and distance. One listed pilot is 13 miles from VTBS; others shown in Dubai are more than 3,000 miles away. That view makes the first question, *who could work for this trip?* much easier to answer. Operators can sort by closest first and filter by distance range, interest status, position type, and aircraft rating. The interest filters distinguish candidates who are interested, not interested, or still pending. Position and type-rating filters help focus the review on the qualifications the assignment requires, such as PIC, SIC, or PIC & SIC, and aircraft types including G650, G-V, CL-30, and F900. Where available, CLEAR verification status and candidate ratings are visible alongside the profile. The map legend also distinguishes the departure and arrival points, the job route, applicant locations, and the route or distance between an applicant and VTBS. It’s a more visual way to evaluate a crew bench: not just who responded, but where they are and how they fit the assignment. ## See the travel picture, not just the distance Distance is useful. But distance alone doesn’t tell you whether a non-local candidate is a practical option. CrewBlast OS now adds Travel Intelligence for candidates who need to get to the departure airport. If a strong applicant is far from the departure airport, you can compare the travel picture with the local options before making a decision. A nearby candidate may be the right fit. Or, with travel options and costs visible, bringing in a better-qualified non-local candidate may be worth considering. The feature supports the decision; it doesn’t make it for you. Operators still evaluate qualifications, availability, fit, and assignment requirements. But they can do that with more of the relevant information in front of them, and fewer separate searches to complete. ## Less logistics. Better-informed decisions.
